The GKTECH JZX Rear Upper Arm Relocation Bracket relocates the front pickup point of the rear upper control arm, the lower control arm pickup and the toe arm pickup. This corrects the rear suspension geometry on lowered vehicles and improves rear grip, stability and predictability.

Lowering a vehicle changes the originally intended geometry and kinematics of the rear suspension arms, which can reduce anti-squat, lower the rear roll centre and negatively affect the factory toe and camber curves.

Four Key Geometry Improvements:
Revised Toe Curve
The revised toe curve increases toe-in gain as the rear suspension compresses. This improves rear stability and helps the tyres maintain a more consistent contact patch under acceleration and cornering loads.

Increased Anti-Squat
Rear anti-squat is increased by approximately 40% compared with the lowered factory pickup-point configuration. This helps reduce rear suspension squat under acceleration, allowing the vehicle to put power down more effectively when exiting corners.

Corrected Roll-Centre Height
The rear roll centre is raised by approximately 25mm, helping restore the roll-centre height lost when the vehicle is lowered. This improves how the rear suspension responds during cornering and provides more predictable rear vehicle behaviour.

Restored Camber Gain
The rear camber-gain curve is returned to the OEM value. This helps prevent excessive dynamic camber as the suspension compresses, allowing the tyre to maintain a more effective contact patch throughout its range of travel.

Together, these geometry changes provide improved forward drive grip, reduced squat and more predictable rear suspension behaviour. The benefits are most noticeable under acceleration, through high-load corners and during fast transitions.

Rear Spring-Rate Considerations
Rear suspension stiffness is made up of two components: geometric stiffness created by the suspension design, and elastic stiffness provided by the springs, dampers and tyres.

As this kit increases the geometric contribution to rear suspension stiffness, some vehicles may benefit from a reduction in rear coilover spring rate. This can allow the suspension to take full advantage of the corrected geometry without making the rear of the vehicle unnecessarily stiff.

- Manufactured from 4130 chromoly steel and e-coated for corrosion protection.
- The brackets are laser cut, CNC folded and TIG welded, while the relocation spacers are CNC machined for precision and accurate fitment.


NOTE: Designed for vehicles lowered between 25mm and 50mm. Not recommended for vehicles at OEM ride height, as the relocation may negatively affect the suspension geometry.
NOTE 2:Β Rear upper control arms fitted with COM10T-sized spherical bearings are required.
NOTE 3: Adjustable rear suspension (RLCA, Toe, Traction) arms are required, as this kit removes the factory eccentric adjustment.
NOTE 4: The traction arm must be set to the recommended length specified in the assembly guide.
NOTE 5: Fitment has been confirmed with GKTECH suspension arms. Suspension arms from other manufacturers may also be compatible, provided they have similar dimensions and sufficient clearance to the GKTECH arms.
NOTE 6: Holes will need to be drilled in the rear subframe. A 12.5mm drill bit is required to suit M12 bolts.
