The GKTech F8X M2/M3/M4, G8X M3/M4 Front Tension Rod spherical bearing replacements are designed to replace the factory OEM rubber bushings. OEM rubber busheings are designed to absorb road noise but that comes at the cost of performance. It's common for upgrades to be made of a harder rubber or a polyurethane but rather than a polyurethane or rubber bushings we have chosen to use a spherical bearing to significanty reduce bushing deflection and ensure a much smoother operation throughout the range of suspension travel.

We have chosen to use a common (COM16T) spherical bearing which is PTFE lined and self lubricating for increased longevity. Simply press out the OEM bush and press the replacement unit in it's place.

- CNC Machined 6061-T6 Aluminium Body
- Common sized spherical bearing
- Easily rebuildable

The most important steering upgrade you can do.

I have built an M2 comp for racing and done a load of testing now with and without this upgrade and I can safely say that putting the gktech caster rod bushes in makes the world of difference in the handling of the car. Firstly the car is much sharper on turn in and isn't as "vague" with the steering inputs, and a massive bonus is you will get rid of the choppy abs braking feel under hard braking. I would say for the price this is the first step to make any current Mcar handle better.

Installation was a breeze, instructions were on the point, if you are doing this yourself order a bushing press kit there about $200.00 and will save yourself alot of time.
