The GKTECH V3 Nissan 350z Z33/Infiniti G35 bolt-on steering angle kit is not only simple and lightweight but remarkably effective for both dedicated drift enthusiasts and grip/street car drivers aiming to enhance their steering speed
It is a bolt on kit, meaning it can be fitted and removed with no modifications. A completely reversible install, even when used with our Super Lock Lower Control Arms!
Why Choose the GKTECH V3 350z Angle Kit?
- 30% Faster Steering: Experience a noticeable increase in steering response
- Bolt-On Convenience: Easy to fit and remove, our kit requires no modifications for installation and is completely reversible – perfect for those using our Super Lock Lower Control Arms.
-
Adjustable Ackerman: Achieve near-parallel front steering with adjustable ackerman, allowing for around 60 degrees of lock lead wheel, significantly improving upon the OEM steering angle limitations.
If you own one of these vehicles, you would know the OEM steering angle on the Z/G chassis sucks! We measured them to having around 37 degrees lead wheel and even less trailing. This kit will allow you to get around 60 degrees of lock lead wheel and with adjustable ackerman you can acheive near parallel front steering.
We strongly recommend our bolt on rack spacer to make the most of the kit but they are an optional item as some people may already have a rack spacer. (SOLD SEPARATELY).
To get the most out of your 350Z/G35 angle kit and to correct the poor geometry of the OEM 2pc lower control arm, we recommend our Super Lock Lower Control Arms as seen here:

Key Features of our 350z angle kit:
- 30% Faster Steering for Enhanced Response
- Adjustable Ackerman for Precise Control
- Up to 60 Degrees of Steering Lock for Superior Handling
NOTE: Ensure to set the lock stop prior to the caliper hitting the strut on lock.
FAQs
Does installing this kit require a wheel alignment?Yes, installation alters toe alignment, necessitating a professional wheel alignment to ensure optimal performance and tire wear.
Will this fit my vehicle?
Our angle kit is compatible with specific Nissan and Infiniti models listed under "vehicle compatibility." If your model isn't listed, compatibility may vary.
Is there anything else needed for installation?
The kit includes everything needed for installation as depicted in the product photo. We recommend professional installation due to the suspension component nature, with a typical install time of around 30 minutes.
Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, if you have general mechanical skills. Though straightforward, we advise having a trained professional perform the installation for safety and efficiency.
Am I going to have any problems with an increase in lock with this steering kit?
Being that the steering kit increases steering angle and changes the ackerman this in turn may cause a light to appear on the dash along with the engagement of VDC.
To circumvent this, we recommend to bypass the factory YAW sensor or you can unplug it entirely.
Note that disabling the YAW sensor may not be legal for road use, please contact your local RTA if this is a concern for you and or effects your intention of use.
What size wheel specs should I use for the best clearance?
Whilst this usually has a really large number of variables (Tyre size, ride height, shock stiffness, wheel spacers, LCA length and more!) it's very simple with the Z33 350Z/G35! Answer: Any! Well, within reason. But we've tested all the way from 9.5 -17 on an 18" wheel and up to a 19x10 with a 255! My recommendation is an 18x9.5 +12/20 with a 235/40/18, these are very popular wheel and tyre sizes with HEAPS of clearance. By using a common wheel and tyre size, it keeps it affordable and it keeps it easy to get spares/access to more at the track (in case of emergency!).
If you have a crazy wheel spec and still have clearance, get in touch! We'll share it here!
Although, whilst there is no reason to bash the chassis. The 350z/V35's have a HUGE swaybar up front which is not ideal. Some customers choose to remove this which certainly helps with clearance on set ups using OEM lower control arms.
Do I need bolt on rack spacers?
While not essential, bolt-on rack spacers are recommended for those seeking maximum steering lock, enhancing rack travel and steering lock potential.
Should I get offset rack spacers or bolt on rack spacers?
The choice depends on your setup. Offset rack spacers are suited for setups prone to over-centering, while bolt-on spacers are ideal for achieving greater steering lock in standard setups.
I already have inner tie rod ends that have rack spacers built in, should I get your bolt on rack spacers?
The aim of the game is to unlock the full potential of the steering rack through rack spacers. If you inner tie rod ends already have them built in, thats fine and they still can be used, but we do recommend checking if that is a limiting factor (assuming they are shorter then the ones we recommend) if they are then we suggest the bolt on rack spacers, because who doesn't like more lock right? ...... right!
What is the difference between the V1 and V2?
The V1 had adjustable bump steer correction, however, we have now fixed it in place as it wasn't super beneficial to have it adjustable. The position it is fixed in now is optimal and allows for an easy install.
Also, we have changed the design ever so slightly to avoid any modifications or grinding to the OEM knuckle.
This means it is now 100% reversible.
Are there any special tools required?
No, basic tools like a spanner set, which we offer separately, will suffice for installation.
